About the JSON ↔ CSV
Turn an array of JSON objects into a CSV file that opens in Excel or Google Sheets, or convert CSV back to JSON. Nested objects become dotted columns such as user.name, quoting follows RFC 4180, and a table preview shows the result before you download it.
How to use it
- Choose JSON → CSV or CSV → JSON.
- Paste your data and pick a delimiter.
- Check the table preview, then copy or download.
Frequently asked questions
- How are nested objects handled?
- They are flattened into dotted column names (address.city). Converting back turns dotted columns into nested objects again.
- Does it detect numbers and booleans in CSV?
- Yes, optionally. Numbers, true/false and null are converted; long numeric strings such as IDs stay as text so they are not rounded.
- Is my data uploaded?
- No. Everything runs in your browser tab with JavaScript. Nothing you enter is uploaded, logged or stored, and the page works offline once loaded.
